In conclusion it would be necessary to speak more of applications generation of electricity, small or big, piles with fuel.
Reactors which will begin being available for a commercial usage only in 2040 or 2050 and with a very slow rhythm. Reactors which cannot be at the same time fast-breeder reactors and consumers of some waste (it is necessary to choose) and that need plutonium from 10 to 12 tons to start.
For reactors in thorium, problem is the same: a lot of uranium or plutonium to start and a technology which will not be in the point (commercial level) before 30 or 40 years. By then, the uranium will have crossed its peak of production (read the report on the uranium, link here: Reports on fossil energies and fissile) and the nuclear technology in aura took a good blow in the wing.
If it is l’ economic exchange which predominates then let us change this system, for a softer, more equitable system, let us stop the profiteers, the pollutants and let us make sure that l’ balance on the planet is preserved, as well as biodiversity l’ one cannot exist without l’ other one.
Everything is still possible.
