No diesel fuel, no wheat

When the fuel is absent, priority in agriculture. The Chinese president Hu Jintao intervened in person to try to preserve the harvest of wheat. According to the New Chine agency, the head of state ordered the local governments to make everything to allocate the diesel first and foremost in farms. In many regions, especially cereal, the fuel becomes a rare commodity, while the harvest of wheat promises to be very good provided that the reapers have of what to work.
This shortage of diesel fuel is to put in the credit of a growth of request (+8,6 % in one year), while the production capacity of fuels stagnates, explained Tian Jinghui, the vice-president of the subsidiary refinery of PetroChina, according to Reuters. Many refineries are at the edge of bankruptcy, choked between the increase in the barrel, and selling prices fixed by the State which make them defecate at a loss. Besides, some people constituted supplies, feeding shortage, hoping that Beijing decides to raise tags.
This year, according to the Chinese officials, the country could know a sharp increase of the production of wheat (+5 million tons), about 114 million tons. China is the first worldwide producer, in front of India and the United States.
