Earthworms bring back millions has Ireland

723 million euro every year! It is what would bring back in Ireland the earthworm, asserts a study financed by the government, and aiming at establishing benefits and costs of biodiversity for the society. What very places a value on the red worm, its capacity to return the more fecund lands, notably while breaking up the organic matter which is then mineralised by the microorganisms of the soil.
